Good Tuesday morning everyone! Last night Jessyca and I curled up in my bed and watched tv (the girls were there too lol) We watch Gladiator and Deal or No Deal. We hadnt done that in a long time. I eneded up going to get groceries by myself again. I dont know if its me or not but since I havent been working outside of the home I find myself talking to more people in the store. It took me 3 hours to get our groceries lol First there was a sweet elderly lady, we started talking because of the price of eggs, she heard me mumbling about turning my chickens into chicken soup lol Turned out we both have chickens that are on stike from laying eggs. I believe we solved all the world problems lol Then I saw a friend that I hadnt saw in a long time. This time I got her phone number so Im sure there will be gab a thons happening.
When I got home there was a phone call from my daughter, she didnt want to ride the bus home and of course daddy went to get her. She like most girls I think, shes got daddy wrapped around her little finger. Mean mommy would never go get her lol
Oh we had a new visitor yesterday! It was a female wild turkey. I only saw her for a second so I didnt get pictures but I will be watching for her today!

oh it seems that you and your girl had a nice evening yesterday.
And I think it's true that all girl get their father to do anything lol. my dad dideverything for me when I was little, and he still do :)

This is the typical time of year for chickens to really cut back on egg laying. Mine have cut back a little - I'm only avg 4 eggs a day out of the 8 of them.
Suppose you could always supply them with a few extra hours of artificial light every day. That would increase their laying, but it does seem to age them quicker.
Dude, the price of everything is absolutely ridiculous any more! It's crazy!

That sounds so wonderful...I wanna curl up in bed and watch movies/tv with my kiddos. I'm sorry your chickens aren't doing their chickenly duties, lol. Hopefully, they'll come around soon. :)
