Blog Prompt for May 12

Blog Prompt: May 12 1993 was the last broadcast of "Cheers" on NBC-TV. Do you go to any place where “everyone knows your name?” Describe it.

Actually it was also a bar. My ex boyfriend's parents owned it and at one point I worked there. It was not a high class place but all different classes of people came there. The most interesting were the men from the ships docking near by. Always very polite, not what you would think. Then we had those "regulars" that you knew what they would order and they had their place to sit. I enjoyed working there but don't think Id want to do it again.

So how was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty quiet. We didn't go camping at all. The weather had called for rain all weekend and I just didn't feel like it. Friday I mowed lawn and waited for phone calls. Matthew finally called me. I got his attention when I said I was going to call the red cross lol I slept most of Saturday away but we did go grocery shopping. Jerry and Jessyca tried to have a camp fire but got rained out lol Sunday I was up very early (hmm wonder why) Jessyca gave me a little book she made for me and Jerry made me breakfast (french toast and bacon) I called my mom to wish her a Happy Mother's Day and chatted with her for a bit. I found out my dad, brother and his family took her to her favorite place to eat on Saturday and then my brother was going to cook her favorite meal on Sunday. I'm glad they were around for her. Matthew called also but wanted Grandma's phone number. Ok I bored you all long enough. Thanks for stopping by and reading what I wrote.

A quick up date: My Uncle seems to be doing alot better. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!

Smart gal - despite the rain forecast we went - but then again, we had to go to set things up for the season.

Well, Sat. was gorgeous but Sunday was bad. At least the tornado warnings were back at the house and not down at the campground. Sounds like the kids made for a nice mother's day for you. Not a lot going on in my world but wanted to stop by and say hi. Capt. Jon tonight!!!!!
