Not Yet

No my computer isnt fix yet : - (   Ive looked at new pcs and now Im looking into just fixing this one.  I cant believe how much they want to fix it.  I believe I can fix it with just switching from XP to Vista (or so I hope)  XP has taken up so much space on here.  Im keeping my fingers crossed for this weekend.  I missed scrapbooking so much that I had to try to do something so below is what happened (couldnt get to fancy because pc would freeze but the kit is so great that I love the 2 pages I did do)
Two weeks ago I saw where a lady was giving away 4 chickens and I emailed her.  To make a long story short I now have 4 new chickens who are doing GREAT!  They are so cute, 3 are frizzles (instead of their feathers laying back they curl forward)  I havent gotten any pictures yet, they are still very shy, she didnt handle them at all but slowly they are coming out and figuring out I have the food.  I got 3 hens (all frizzle) and 1 rooster, just what I needed was another rooster, already had 3 but he was raised with the 3 hens, they have never been apart and I wasnt going to be the one to seperate him from his ladies.  He loves to crow and is a good boy so thats ok.
This is the first week I havent had to work extra shifts and it feels good to be home 2 days in a row.  Yesterday I made homemade oven caramel corn, it is sooooo good!  Very easy to make too:
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup corn syrup
Boil above for 5 minutes, romove from heat and add 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. butter flavoring.
Pour over popped popcorn and stir well.  Place that all into the oven at 200 for 1 hour.  Stir every 15 minutes.
As for how much popcorn to make we use a hot air popper and do it 2 times so maybe 1 cup (Im guessing here)  It fills a large roasting pan.
Thats it!  I have to make another batch today because Jessyca and I gave over half of it away to a cousin visiting from CA.  Of course Jessyca wants to bring some into her class and I want to give some more away.  Ill be making that today and some cookies also.  I guess Im in a baking mood lol
