Good morning everyone! Hows everyone doing this am? I finally got a good nights sleep and man I feel great! I got a phone call from my son Matt yesterday, he got his blanket and is very happy. He liked his goodies too. He was looking forward to taking his chicken little pez dispenser to work today lol I sure miss my buddy!
I always read the comments left for me and I love each one. I was reading comment on the mouse post and someone said sticky traps, well we have tried those when Minnie was little. It was tucked in the closet. Yep you got it she got into it. First one front paw, she totally freaked out! I thought she was hurt so I took off to find her, just as I rounded the corner I saw her stick her other front paw into the trap. Did you know that stuff dont come off? I pulled and ended up with the plastic tray in my hand. I finally got the big glob off but for a month after she stuck to everything. I couldnt get the remainder off no matter what I did. So we dont use those any more LOL! Every fall we place decon under the house and any where we can that the dogs cant get to. if there is the smallest chance they could get it we dont place it there. My dad swears that dryer sheet work (place sheets where ever you dont want mince to go) but Ive never tried it. Has anyone else tried that?
Ok before I bore you all to death Ill close this post with another lo I did yesterday (I really like how this one came out)
I did this one for a challenge over at Scappers Zone.
I used Digheaven Designs kit called Pretty Poinsettia
Font was Silver Script Flourishes

I don't think I could use the sticky traps....what do you do with the mouse once it's stuck there? Ick! I leave all of the mouse traps in DH's hands and he has to put them where I can't see any dead mice b/c I feel too guilty about the whole thing, lol!
I guess with a smaller dog, the stickies would be a problem. My setter didn't seem to get into them, but now I'm sure my cocker would be all over them. Never heard of dryer sheets. Let us know if it works. Have a good day.
We had a furnace repairman step on a sticky trap and he was sticking to EVERYTHING! It was bad, but funny too!
Great LO - love the blending!
Never heard of dryer sheets for the mice - I've heard cats work best! lol!
LOL, well yes I suppose I wouldn't use sticky traps either in that case. Our mouse problem's always in the basement so we can keep the door that leads down there closed and limit who goes down there. Good luck with your mouse hunt, have never tried dryer sheets.
Great layout too! Have a great day!
I don't know much about mice...thank goodness! Sorry I can't help!!!
