New blanket for Matt

When Matt was home he fell in love with Jessyca's No Sew blanket so I promised to make him one. It took me awhile to get the material and find time to make it. I hope he likes it!

More pictures

Jessyca, her friend Steph and I went up to Duluth, MN for a night of fun for the girls at The Edge Water motel and water park. On our way to there we stopped in Superior to have pizza with my parents (didn't get no pictures, forget I got new camera lol) Then we raced to the motel where we unloaded the van and the girls changed into their swimming suits.

After breakfast the next morning it was back into their swim suits for some more fun in the water before we left.

This was the view from our room. Cold morning.

Jerry was left home to care for the dogs and chickens. Let me just say the chickens were happy I was back home because I give more treats then he does lol

Here's a lost photo from my old camera of Tiny and Penelope.

And one last one from the other day.
Im thinking its a secret chicken meeting lol

New camera!

I got a new camera and I thought Id share some pictures.

Ive heard of chicken in a bucket but chicken in a bag?

Too much to too little

It has taken me a few days to recover enough to be able to type this so bare with me here.  On Wednesday I wasnt feeling the best so I called into work to get rid of my second client (the mean woman) for that day.  I only had to go fix breakfast and visit a little with my new gentleman and then I could go home to bed.  When I got there and opened the door with the usual smile and a cheerful good morning he wasnt in his chair (very unusual).  I went to his bedroom to find he passed away peacefully in his sleep only 2 months and 2 days after his wife of 64 years.  In the very short time Ive been with him I loved going there making him breakfast and we would discuss all small town gossip.  He was a very special man that will be dearly missed.
I had to call 911, answer tons of questions, be there when his family arrived and hold it together until I could go.  This is the hardest thing I had to do in my whole life and I hope to never do again.  That days was the worst in my life, that night was filled with nightmares and images of him laying there.  The next day (yesterday) was better but I had to keep busy.  Today is the funeral.  My thoughts and prayers go to his lovely family.
Rest in pease Forrest (1921-2009)  I will never forget what a kind, sweet and loving man you were.
Please forgive me if I dont post for awhile.

Freezing and busy

Ok before I need to get out that bug spray (thanks for the idea Catlady! lol) I thought Id update really quick. The weather here isnt being nice but I wont complain lol
I have been having a hard time with the lady I was helping take care of, I couldnt do anything right for her and she was always cutting me down. At first I asked to be removed from her one day a week leaving me there only one day one week and three days the next but that hasnt worked. I got a call last Wednesday asking me if I was interested in someone new and I jumped at the chance. I met him on Friday and started today. Now the only problem is that I am still with that woman until I can be replaced so I will be working alot! Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 9-3 and Wednesday from 9-10:30 is the new gentleman. Wednesday 11 - 4 and every other weekend is that lady. Finally I have one more gentleman I take care of thats only an hour to 1 1/2 once a week but I drive 80 round trip to get to him and usually on Thursdays. If everything works out and I am dropped from that lady I will be working M, Tu, Th and F from 9 - 3, Wednesday will be from 9-10:30 and then off to gentleman 2s house! Every weekend off!! I will miss my time here at the house by myself but what you going to do?
So now you all know whats going on in my world : )
