Hello everyone! Hows everyone been doing? We have been doing good here. I got a question for those with young kids in school. Last night I helped Jessyca with her home work, it took 3+ hours to do! You wouldn't believe what they had to do. It took 2 parents and uncle Jack who's an electrician to do lol Convert milli amps to watts! Now I'm talking 4th grade not high school or even middle school. I also got a lesson on longitude and latitude lol Does your child bring home alot of homework? I cant believe 1. what Ive forgot and 2. what they teach them so early.
Ok Im going to leave you with some links to some GREAT freebies from my designers and a blog train. Please remember your manners and say thank you. Have a great day!

Isn't homework crazy?! My DD brought home an 11 page homework booklet in her first week of kindergarten and I could NOT believe it! And it just gets worse each year -- needless to say, I can relate!
thanks for stopping by... ah, homework, when we lvied in florida i thought they should have paid me teacher salary, i did so much homework with kids, but then we moved to canada, and in elementary school my kids never have homework!!!! i love it!
Thanks for the heads up on the freebies. I'll be certain to pass the word.
It's amazing to me the things that kids need to know before even going to Kindergarden! When I was that age we just went and had fun! LOL
My oldest just started Kindergarten and I'm amazed at some of the homework she brings home. It's awful because she's so worn out at the end of the day and really doesn't want to spend an hour doing more school work. My neighbor's son who is in 1st grade was doing Ven diagrams last week....I didn't do those until I was in COLLEGE!!!
I'm totally feeling you on the homework. My 1st grader is learning about congruent shapes! Um, I remember that from 10th grade geometry, and not before.
Holy smokes! When the heck is she gonna convert milliamps to watts in life? Wow. I have to say here it was about 5th grade where they started to get slammed with homework. It is insane some days. I think often is just frustrates kids and makes them see school as a chore. I wish I had the answer. 3 hours is NUTS!!
Thanks for the freebie list! Great hunting! Awesome!
Toot tooooting through-
Thanks for the awesome list- and yup, school homework seems to get more and more each year- and Um, more need for parent involvement- but hell I need to go back to school to remember all that stuff- LOL
