Blog Hopper

I found this wonderful blog that has started a list of bloggers who love to read blogs. Most of these lovely ladies (and great gentlemen in there to) are into quilting. That's something my mom used to do before her second aneurysm that left her right side unusable. My kids are the oldest and got great quilts from her. Now there are 3 little girls (1 soon to be 2, 3 and a 7 year old) that will not being getting any home sewn things from grandma (makes me sad) so I got a sewing machine (2 years ago) but never got the guts up to do anything with it. I look at these blogger's quilts in such awe the same awe I used to look at my mom's quilts with. If I dont stop (which I doubt I will) looking at these blogs I will be digging my machine out and starting yet another addiction. I know it will be an addiction for me as it is for many like my mom.
Not only do I have all her patterns, books and material I have my own patterns that Ive picked up knowing some day I will do it.
If you would like to check them out look here but remember you have been warned about the possible addiction!

Wow! You are too kind! BTW, I love the pic of your 20 year old in the sidebar:).

Hugs!

I've always looked at quilting and wanted to give it a try. You know what I've been considering - one of those rag quilts where you cut and tie the edges of the fabric. Those are supposed to be fairly easy to make.
